Fathers & Sons: the relationship of a lifetime, rarely explored, always important. Fathers show their sons who they will become. Those sons make their own way. Through babyhood, childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, marriage, grandchildren, aging dads, and every step in between, fathers and sons carry each other within.

In this latest Chicken Soup for the Soul, the powerful lineage of fathers to sons will be explored, through stories about fathers and their sons, step-sons, sons-in-law, as well as stories about fathers, fathers-in-law, step fathers, substitute fathers, grandfathers and grandsons. Stories will be written from every point of view, including from the vantage point of those who watch the unfolding and timeless relationship: the women who love them, marry them, birth them.

"Every father should remember
that one day
his son will follow his example
instead of his advice."
